Spellbound

Ava Durso - February 13, 2023

Leaves waving in the wind,

your hands on my skin,

crunching leaves below our feet—

your kiss tastes so sweet.

The autumn breeze nips

but I can’t take my mind off your lips.

Colors falling all around,

you’ve got me spellbound.

Trees arching over us

only empower your boldness.

The wooden bench begins to creak

as your hands caress my cheek.

The world falls into silence….

This time spent with you is priceless.

We’re here together,

holding one another.

Your presence counters the cold

as your words leave me in a chokehold.

“I love you”
