POEM: 12 Years

Updated: Jan 13, 2020

Let me tell you about

Melting glaciers in our seas

Burning forests on our land

Dirty air in our bodies

Warming temperatures on our earth

Let me tell you about

Greenhouse gases in our atmosphere

Deforestation of our trees

Fossil fuels fouling our air

Sun intensifying in our skies

Let me tell you about

Humans littering on our home

Humans burning the trees of our home

Humans ruining the air in our home

Humans killing our home

The only one we will ever have

And with little time to save it
