A rabbit, brown fur with a pink delicate nose, sat in the middle of a dirt road, surrounded by trees who towered over him like unmoving giants His eyes were like storm clouds, fleshy golf balls sprouted from its neck. Pain would consume him every step he took It was his time. He lay in the open, waiting to become the start of someone else’s life
