Its beauty is something that inspires:
The clouds—they look like cotton balls on fire
We make our wishes on four leaf clovers
The sun—a giant supernova!
With youthful lovers dancing through the streets
The grass like pillows under their bare feet.
My window drips with hazy summer air
My pages curl while reading in a chair
A dip into a sea of salty green
A rainstorm leaves our plain white siding clean
The heat that I breathe in slips down my throat,
And summer sails away just like a boat.
