Oh, what a tranquil sea it is,

this seclusion.

Students across the nation lie

in their beds.

Their anxieties keep them glued

They are paralyzed,

in desperate need

of something

to ease

the whirlwind of their minds.

The zombies sit dull

and braindead.

In their mind, a lull

turns their limbs to lead.
