Seclusion

by LARISSA KRAKORA - October 15, 2020

Oh, what a tranquil sea it is,

this seclusion.

But wait until we tell them

in their beds.

Their anxieties keep them glued

in place.

They are paralyzed,

frozen,

in desperate need

of something

to ease

the whirlwind of their minds.

The zombies sit dull

and braindead.

In their mind, a lull

turns their limbs to lead.
