Summer is on its deathbed,

with Fall just around the bend.

and yet, looking back, I find,

that Fall was never far behind.

The wind of the beach is, to me,

a great and soothing harmony.

as welcome as the Autumn wind,

that greets me with a playful grin.

Summer is on its deathbed,

but is it truly at an end?

For how can I choose between the shifting keys

of Nature’s mystic melodies?
