1,122 miles was not us.

Sandy Hook Elementary School, December 14th, 2012. 814 miles. 28 dead.

my sister was not afraid to attend her senior English seminar that day.

814 miles was not us.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, February 14, 2018. 1,188 miles. 17 dead.

my best friend was not afraid to walk to chemistry alone that day.

1,188 miles was not us.

Noblesville West Middle School, May 25, 2018. 8.6 miles. 2 injured.

I was afraid of the kid who carried a gun like I carried my backpack that day.

8.6 miles could have been us.

and 8.6 miles made them listen.

because we are generation lockdown.
